Anne Eisert ’86, ’95 M.B.A.

Anne Eisert

Project Manager at Erie Insurance in Erie. As an undergraduate, Anne attended Behrend for two years before finishing her degree at University Park. She earned her M.B.A. at Penn State Behrend in 1995 and is a frequent volunteer at STEM Outreach Events at the college.

About her job: I lead Information Technology projects that are used by Erie Insurance policy holders, such as online accounts, our mobile application, paperless billing, etc.

Hometown: I’m an Erie native and current resident.

Just Married: I just got married in June to Jim Piersol.

Why she joined the WEC board: I want to help other women succeed, and I like to stay involved in the community.

On the rewards of her work: I like to make an impact by making things better or easier to use for our customers, which is why I like working in IT.

Most important traits for a professional woman to possess: Confidence. Don’t be shy about aggressively going after whatever it is that you want.

Lake life: My favorite way to relax is boating with my husband. We have a 36’ Tiara motor yacht and we named it JimAnneye Dream.e. (Yes, that’s the right spelling and it’s complicated as to why we named it that way). We like to cook dinner on the boat and watch the sun set.

What you’d be surprised to know about her: I have a 50-Ton Captain’s License, which means I can captain a commercial boat. I got it because when I retire, I would like to take people out on boat touring trips in Florida. It’s also useful to transfer boats from one location to another in the area.

She bleeds blue: I love Penn State and Penn State football games.

Most interesting place she’s ever visited: Shanghai, China.

Anne is happy to connect with you and is open to mentoring. How to reach her:
