Paths for Finance Majors An
undergraduate degree in finance is excellent preparation for many positions with
mutual funds, brokeragefirms, banks, and insurance companies, as well as for jobs
in corporate finance. Penn State Erie graduated its first class of Finance majors
in spring 2001.
The U.S. Department
of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts greater-than-average demand over
the next decade for financial analysts, personal financial advisers, and commodities
