Welcome to Plastics 205 An – Introductory Plastics Engineering Technology College-Level Course Plastics 205 is a three-credit introductory course, designed for web-based delivery. Credits earned can be applied to the associates or baccalaureate degree in Plastics Engineering Technology offered by Penn State Erie. This course provides an introduction to the plastics industry including the fundamental aspects of plastic materials. Common material fabrication processes are also covered along with an overview of how the chemical structure of polymers influences their mechanical and flow properties.
