Edinboro University, Edinboro, PA. Visited Fisher-Price with Edinboro staff to research industrial design aspects of product development, Spring 2003.
Edinboro University, Edinboro, PA. Collaborated with Edinboro art staff for course development of a special section of PL ET 350, Design of Plastic Parts, 4 credits, to incorporate elements of art with engineering principles for plastic part development. This collaboration resulted in coursework affecting 22 PLET students, 3 art students from Edinboro University, and two art instructors from Edinboro University, Spring 2003.
Service to community
Organized and presented (twice) a 2-hour program with Lucy Lenhardt for 7th and 8th grade students from Warren, PA area to illustrate career opportunities for a Plastics Engineer, June 16, 2004.
Erie Achievement Center, Erie, PA. Supported efforts to design wheelchair equipment to make recreational activities such as power soccer available to handicapped children by providing expertise and students, 2001.
Service to governmental agencies at the international, federal, state, and local levels

Assisted Erie, PA’s Sheriff’s Department in procuring tooling to fabricate plastic sheriff badges in support of children’s drug awareness program. Coordination with skills center and other local support in organization was required, Spring 1999-Fall 2000.
