The PLET program at Penn State Behrend gave me the foundation required to begin my career with a Tie
r 2 automotive supplier upon graduation. The skills I learned allowed me to quickly advance from a Project Engineer to an Engineering Manager in less than four years, while being an integral part of the company’s rapid success and growth. I currently work as the Global Director of Technical Sales & Marketing for BTI, an international high tech company, whose foundation is based on the very principles taught within the PLET program. This position allows me to travel within the United States and abroad, which provides me the opportunity to experience different cultures while seeing the diverse array of business practices within the global plastics industry. And I can honestly say I enjoy going to work each day…not many people can say that in any industry. For those interested in pursuing a challenging and rewarding career path, I strongly recommend the PLET program. You won’t be disappointed.
