The morning began with a meeting with Representative Phil English in the Rayburn House Office Building while Iraq War protesters who had caused a disruption were escorted out of the building. The group then traveled to Embassy Row to meet with an official from the Embassy of Botswana and discuss political and economic issues there. After lunch at International Square, we went to a briefing at the International Monetary Fund and then to a tour, briefing, and reception at the Romanian Embassy, also on Embassy Row.
