Knapp and Ruffo Tabbed AMCC Runners of the Week
Senior Jessica Knapp (Erie/McDowell) finished second in a field of 52 runners to help the Behrend Lions to a third place finish at the Westminster College Fisher Invitational. Her 5K time was 19:05.
Sophomore Brad Ruffo (West Middlesex/West Middlesex) finished 4th of 51 runners to help the Behrend Lions to a second place finish at the Westminster College Fisher Invitational. His time for the 8K course was 27:15.
Next up for head coach Dave Cooper's crew will be the Behrend Invitational. The event annually draws high-quality collegiate teams and includes a junior high and varsity high school race for men and women. The college event is the first meet beginning at 10:00 a.m.
