Behrend's Brad Ruffo Named AMCC Runner of the Week (9/6/05)
Penn State Behrend junior Brad Ruffo (West Middlesex/West Middlesex) turned in a top-notch performance in the opening meet of 2005. Ruffo placed first out of 100 runners at the Fisher Invitational hosted by Westminster College.
Last season Ruffo finished as Behrend's top runner in seven of eight team events. On Saturday his winning time was 27:57.
The cross country program is hosting several colleges and universities in their annual Behrend Invitational on Saturday, September 17. There is a high school race leading up to the college invitational beginning for the women at 11:00 a.m. followed by the men's race at 11:45 a.m.
