Behrend to Host Annual Cross Country Invitational
The cross country program is hosting its annual Invitational this Saturday that will feature 14 colleges and universities. The women's race will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be followed by the men's race at 11:45 a.m. This will be the second race for both the Behrend men and women. Both programs opened their seasons at the Westminster Invitational back on September 3 in which Brad Ruffo (West Middlesex/West Middlesex) finished first in his race for the men's team while Jen Bailey (Corry/Corry) came in third for the women. The event, which is sponsored by Behrend Athletics, will offer a free watch giveaway to all those who come.
Leading up to the college races will be a series of Jr. high school and high school races that will feature 7 schools from the surrounding area. The Jr. high races will start the day off at 9:00 a.m. and will be followed by the high school races at 9:30 a.m.
