Ruffo Chosen AMCC Runner of the Week (10/31/05)
Behrend’s
Brad Ruffo (West Middlesex/West Middlesex) has been named Allegheny Mountain
Collegiate Conference (AMCC) runner of the week. The junior captured the
individual title at the AMCC Championships on Saturday, October 29.
He finished the 8K course in first place with a time of 26:55, helping the
men’s cross country team to a second place team finish.
Ruffo, an all-conference performer and the 2004 AMCC Championships individual runner-up, has been honored as the AMCC Runner of the Week four times this season. He has been the top finisher for Behrend in all six competitions this season.
The
blue and white next compete at the NCAA Regional on November 12 at Dickinson
College,
Brad Ruffo
where they will look to improve upon their fourteenth
place finish from 2004.
