Ruffo and Bailey Top Men and Women's AMCC All-Conference Teams

Members of the Behrend men's and women's cross country team made the AMCC's annual cross country all-conference team, after finishing second in the conference during the regular season.

Behrend’s Brad Ruffo (West Middlesex/West Middlesex) was named the AMCC men's runner of the year.  Ruffo was named the AMCC runner of the week back in the end of October after he captured the individual title at the AMCC Championships on October 29.  Ruffo was the top finisher for the Behrend men in all six of their competitions this season.

Also making the all-conference list for the men was freshman Jason Bem (Union City/Union City).  Bem finished seventh in the AMCC championships and was the third place finisher for Behrend in the Behrend Invitational.

On the women's side, freshman sensation Jenny Bailey was named the AMCC newcomer of the year.  Bailey earned runner of the week back  in September after finishing third at the Westminster Invitational and 15 out of 125 runners at the Behrend Invitational.  Bailey was the runner-up at the AMCC championships.

Sophomore Lisesl Soergel (Evans City/Butler) was the women's other all-conference representative.  Soergel finished in eighth place at the AMCC championships and 40 out of 125 runners at the Behrend Invitational.
