Fatica Named ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the Week
Penn State Behrend's
Jenna Fatica(Erie/Villa Maria Academy) was named
the ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR athlete of the week for September 29, 2008.
Fatica has been the backbone of the Behrend women's cross country team.
She has placed in the top ten in each of the three races that she has
competed in this season. Fatica broke the twenty minute mark for the
first time at the Allegheny Invitational on Saturday, September 27th.
Fatica finished in 19:46 to take seventh place. She led the
blue and white to a third place finish at.
Fatica has been a strong runner all year. She led the Behrend Lions to a sixth place finish at the Westminster Inviational to kick off the year and then led the blue and white to a third place finish as the Behrend Lions hosted their tournament.
The women's cross country team will be back in action on
October 4th when they travel to Pittsburgh to take part in the
Pitt-Greensburg Bobcat Invitational. They will then compete in the Oberlin
Inter Regional Rumble on October 18th.
