Behrend has Great Showing at Annual Fall Golf
Invitational at
Peek'n Peak
The blue and white hosted their annual fall
golf invitational at Peek'n Peak Golf Course on Thursday, September
20.
This year twelve Division III schools competed in the event. The Behrend blue team posted a score of 305 and finished fourth overall. Winning this year's event was Daeman with a team score of 290. Close behind in second place was Lake Erie who finished with a card of 291.
Four teams competed among Division II schools. The Division II men's winner was Gannon with a team score of 289. Finishing second was Mercyhurst College with a score of 311.
Top finishers for the Behrend Lions included Jon Arrigo (Erie/Mercyhurst) and Rene Menjivar (Corry/Corry) who both finished with a score card of 75.
Next up for the blue and white they
will travel to Altoona to compete in the Penn State Altoona Invitational on
Monday, September 24. Tee off is at 12:00 p.m.
