Men's Golfers Earn All-Conference and Player of the Year Awards
Individuals of the Behrend men's golf team have been recognized by the AMCC in the conference's annual All-Conference Teams and Players of the Year awards. Behrend sophmore Dave Kostanich (Jefferson Hills/Thomas Jefferson) led the award winners by earning the 2005 Player of the Year award. Kostanich was the individual medalist in both the Penn State Altoona Invitational and the La Roche Invitational.
Other Behrend award winners included Alex Kiproff (Fox Chapel/Fox Chapel), who was named to the All-Conference second team, Josh Loaney (Cranberry Twp./Seneca Valley) who earned All-Conference honorable mention honors, and Gary Dillaman (Meadville/Meadville) who also made the All-Conference honorable mention.
The men finish their season at the AMCC championships on Monday, October 17.
