Senior Golfer Kostanich Named Behrend Athlete of the Week

State Behrend senior golfer Dave Kostanich (Jefferson
Hills/Thomas Jefferson)
has been named the ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR athlete
of the week for the week of April 21, 2008.
An AMCC All-Conference selection in the fall, Kostanich led his team to a
fourth place finish at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. Dave shot a
77 during the first round of play and improved to a 76 in second round
action. The Behrend Lions finished the competition shooting a 639 as a
team.
The blue and white will host the
annual Behrend Invitational at Peak n' Peek Resort on Thursday, April 24.
The team will go on to play in the Washington & Jefferson Invitational for
their final event of the season.
