Adam Kaiser named Enterprise RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the Week

Behrend junior Adam Kaiser (Erie/Cathedral Prep) was named the Enterprise
RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the week for the week of February 2, 2009.
The Behrend Lions have won six of their last seven games on the hardwood behind Kaiser. Last week he led the blue and white to two key AMCC victories to move into a first place tie with Penn State Altoona. Kaiser averaged 20 ppg in the two road victories going 10-for-21 from behind the arc. Kaiser is averaging 13.3 ppg on the year and 3.22 three-pointers a game.
The Behrend Lions are ranked fourth in the nation in scoring defense limiting their opponents to 58.7 ppg. The blue and white are also ranked ninth in free-throw percentage at 77.4 percent.
Behrend will be at home on Wednesday, February 4 at 8 p.m. against conference foe Hilbert. They will then take on the Penn State Altoona in a match-up of league leaders. The Behrend Lions will take on the Altoona Lions at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
