Behrend Lions Stay Undefeated in AMCC With Win Over La Roche

Penn State Behrend men's basketball cruised to a 74-56 victory over La Roche on Saturday, January 13 in the Junker Center.  With the win, the men improve to 9-4 overall and a perfect 7-0 in AMCC play. 

The blue and white shot 58% from the floor in the game and worked for a 33-19 rebounding edge on the glass in the 18-point win.  Behrend shot out of the gate, converting a blistering 74% from the field in the first half and racing to a 39-23 halftime lead.  La Roche (4-10, 2-5) would battle in the second half, getting to within nine points before Behrend pulled away.

Behrend's Kevin Buczynski (Erie/Villa Maria) scored a team-high 22 points in 22 minutes of play.  David Gahan (Erie/East) was big off the bench, contributing ten points and ten rebounds on the night. 


The blue and white go on the road to battle AMCC rival Pitt-Bradford on Monday, January 15 at 8:00 p.m.
