Men's and Women's Basketball Both Ranked in NCAA Statistics
Both the Behrend men's and women's basketball teams have found themselves ranked in several of the NCAA's national statistical categories. The men highlighted their achievements with a fifth-ranked defense in the country, allowing only 58.1 points per games. The women found themselves included in four categories including the most important one, win-loss percentage. At 14-2 the women have the twenty-fourth best record in the nation.
Other rankings for the men included a top-30 ranking in field-goal percentage defense at 39.7 percent and fewest personal fouls per game at 14.6. The women were ranked in team defense (37th), three-point percentage (26th), and scoring margin (49th).
Both the men and women are in action tonight, January 24 at Mt. Aloysius. Their next home game will be on January 31 against the Hilbert Hawks. Image Sports will broadcast the game live on television.
