Kevin Buczynski Named AMCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Penn State Behrend men's basketball player Kevin Buczynski (Erie/Villa Maria) was named AMCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on February 19.  The junior helped Behrend to two big conference wins to wrap up regular season play.  

Buczynski
averaged 19.0 points and 8.0 rebounds while shooting 55% from the floor in leading the blue and white to wins over #1 seed Lake Erie on the road, and #3 seed Penn State Altoona at home in the Junker Center. 

On the season, Buczynski averages 18.1 points and 7.0 boards a game, ranking fifth and third best in the conference respectively in those categories.
  This is the third time this season that Buczynski has been named as player of the week.  

Behrend (18-6, 16-2) is next in action on Friday, February 23 at Lake Erie at 8:00 p.m.  The men will square off in the AMCC semifinals against the winner of Tueday's match-up between #3 Pitt-Bradford and #6 Penn State Altoona.
