Behrend Handles Spartans 7-0, to Lock Up Second Place in AMCC
On Tuesday, October 27, the Behrend
Lions defeated the D'Youville Spartans 7-0 to lock up second place in the AMCC regular season.
Behrend's Josh Teti
(McKeesport, PA/Elizabeth Foward) and Lance Sabol (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin)
each scored a pair of goals in the routine win. Adding goals were Brian
Bodnar (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional), Jared Potts (Conway, PA/Freedom)
and Jake Gamble (Butler, PA/Butler) as the blue and white improved to
8-2-1 at home.
Penn State Behrend now sits at 13-4-2 overall and 8-1-1 in the AMCC. The Behrend Lions begin the conference tournament on Saturday, October 31. Behrend enters as the second seed and will host the seventh seeded Pitt-Bradford Panthers (4-12, 3-6) at 2:30 p.m.
