Men's Soccer a Win Away From AMCC's

The Behrend Men's Soccer team plays the Medaille Mavericks at home on Tuesday, October 26, at 3:00 p.m., and needs a win to return to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) playoffs.  The blue and white are currently in fifth place in the conference, and will secure a playoff spot with a win in their last regular season game of the year.

Coach Dan Perritano's teams have made the conference finals in all seven years of conference play, and have won the title three times in that span, including a home win last year over Frostburg.  The Behrend Lions are currently 11-5-1 overall, and 4-3-1 in the AMCC.

Of the ten conference teams, six make the playoffs.  If Behrend beats the Mavericks the team will likely travel to Frostburg on Saturday, October 30.  The semifinals will take place on Wednesday, November 3, and the finals will be held on Saturday, November 6.  All playoff games are tentatively slated for 2:00 p.m. starts.
