Men's Soccer Picked
Third in AMCC Coaches' Poll "The league presents a very rigorous test each week," said head coach Dan Perritano. "Clearly Altoona is deserving of the number-one preseason spot, while Pitt-Greensburg and Frostburg will also compete for our league championship come November." The AMCC kicks off play on September 24. The conference championship will be Saturday, November 5 at the highest remaining seed. The winner will receive the AMCC's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Behrend Lions open play against Juniata at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3 in the annual Herb Lauffer Memorial Soccer Tournament. Game one features Baldwin-Wallace and Washington & Jefferson, who battle in the 2:00 p.m. contest. The consolation game is slated for Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and the championship follows at 4:00 p.m. on the Behrend Fields. Back to Men's Soccer News Index |
