Men's Soccer Ranked
in Mid-Atlantic Region
In the first poll of the 2005 season, the Behrend Men's Soccer Team is
ranked #10 in the Mid-Atlantic Region. After a 4-0 start, that
included winning the Herb Lauffer Tournament, the Behrend Lions look
to continue a promising campaign.
Defending NCAA Champion Messiah tops the regional poll.
"This is a great start to our season and hopefully the best is yet to come," said head coach Dan Perritano. "The team has worked hard to achieve this honor."
Behrend's next home match is Wednesday, September 21 at 4:00 p.m. against a non-conference opponent, the Grove City Wolverines (3-1-1). This will be Behrend's last tune-up before conference play begins against Penn State Altoona with and away game on Saturday, September 24 at 4:00 p.m.
