Behrend Men Conclude Season With 2-0 Loss in ECAC Playoffs

The Penn State Behrend men's team concluded the 2005 season with a hard fought 2-0 loss on the road at McDaniel.

Behrend entered the ECAC Southern Region Tournament contest as the eight seed. Behrend battled for 90 minutes but fell to the host and number-one seed McDaniel. Michael Holt opened the scoring at the 20:07 mark of the first half. Twenty four minutes later Donzell Tate connected to complete the scoring. McDaniel out shot Behrend 14 to 8.

"We played really well today and gave great effort," said head coach Dan Perritano. "Their keeper made a great, possibly game changing save only one minute into the game. To McDaniel's credit they were better."

The Behrend Lions finish up at 12-7 while the Green Terror advances to the ECAC semi-finals at 14-4-2.
