Behrend's Salim Named AMCC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Penn State Behrend's Ahmad Salim (Cranberry/Seneca Valley) has been named the AMCC Men's Soccer Player of the Week on October 30.  The sophomore forward scored two goals, including the game winner in Behrend's 3-0 victory over Pitt-Bradford in the AMCC Tournament Semifinals on Saturday.  Salim currently leads the blue and white in scoring with seven goals and 14 points on the season.  He has started all 18 games for Behrend (8-8-2). 

The Behrend Lions men's soccer team travels to meet the #1 seeded Medaille Mavericks on Wednesday, November 1 in the AMCC Tournament semifinal round.  Gametime is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. with the winner moving on to the championship game to face the winner of Frostburg State vs. Penn State Altoona on November 4.  The ECAC and NCAA tournaments are slated to begin on November 8.
