The Penn State Behrend Lions faced off against the La Roche Red Hawks Saturday, September 29th at the Behrend fields.  The men were looking to tally another win towards conference play.

The first half remained a back and forth battle between the two teams.  The blue and white had a number of chances, including a set piece opportunity that almost put the men up 1-0.  Towards the end of the half the Behrend Lions were dominating La Roche, out-shooting them 11-8 in the first half alone.

As overtime began, each team got great scoring opportunities.  Unfortunately, it would be only one that counted.  In the seventh minute of overtime, Ousman Jaiteh (Gambai, Africa/Gamia) from La Roche ending the scoreless battle.  The Behrend Lions out-shot the Red Hawks 29-13.  Walker had six saves on the day.

The blue and white will next host the Lake Erie Storm (7-3-1) on Wednesday, October 3, at the Behrend fields.  This will be the fourth AMCC conference match for the men this season.
