Walker Named AMCC Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week

The Penn State Behrend's Dustin Walker (Apollo/Kiski) has been named the AMCC Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week on October 22.

The sophomore went the distance for the Behrend Lions in two conference wins.  Walker first shut out Hilbert in a 5-0 win on October 16.  Then on October 20 he allowed just one goal in a 3-1 win on the road versus Penn State Altoona.  The win over Altoona clinched the #2 seed for the blue and white in the AMCC Tournament.

This is the second goalkeeper of the week award for Walker as he was also honored on October 8. In 11 games this season, Walker has allowed just four goals.  He leads the league with a .39 GAA and a .915 save percentage.

The Behrend men (11-4-2) conclude the regular season with a non-conference game on the road against Case Western at 3:00 p.m. on October 23.  The conference playoffs begin with the first round games on October 27.
