Penn State Behrend Earns Four AMCC Athlete's of the Week

AMCC Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week-Kayla Frost

Kayla Frost (Venetia/Peters Township) was named to the Days Inn all-tournament team with a fine effort between the pipes for the Behrend Lions.  She picked up the shutout in a 3-0 win over Mount Union, then made 18 saves (including a PK) in a 2-0 loss to Fredonia State.

AMCC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week-Brad Ruffo

Brad Ruffo (West Middlesex/West Middlesex) started his senior season strongly, posting a second place finish at the Westminster Invitational in a time of 27:21.  Ruffo, the defending AMCC champion, led the Behrend Lions to a fourth place finish

AMCC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week-Jenny Bailey

Jenny Bailey (Corry/Corry) was the fastest AMCC woman to cross the finish line at the Westminster Invitational, clocking in at 19:53 for a fourth place finish.

AMCC Volleyball Athlete of the Week-Elaine Voltz

Elaine Voltz (Saxonburg/Knoch) averaged 4.81 kills per game and was named the MVP at the Behrend Invitational. Behrend rolled to four wins as Voltz totaled 77 kills and 23 blocks. Her 14 kills versus Fredonia State put her at 1,138 for her career, the best in school history.
