in the third game on Friday. Two triples in the first inning gave the
Mounties all the runs they would need. The battery of Whitney Giedroc
and Carrie Shevock were solid on both sides of the plate. Both went
2-for-3 with a combined three RBI while Shevock pitched seven innings,
scattering five hits, giving up one run and striking out five. Alyssa
