Hobaugh Named Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week

State Behrend junior Karen Hobaugh (Kutztown/Kutztown) has been named the
ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR athlete of the week for the week of September 11,
2008.
Hobaugh was teamed with Christy Calvert in doubles to beat Frostburg State 8-5 on Friday. In singles fourth flight action she dominated with a 6-1, 6-1 victory. At the Behrend Invitational on Saturday Hobaugh went undefeated in singles action leading the Behrend Lions to the championship.
The blue and white posted an impressive 4-0 record over the weekend. A 9-0 win over Frostburg State started the season off right. Capping off the weekend the Behrend lions captured the Behrend Invitational by defeating Bethany, Geneva, and Alfred.
Behrend will travel to Fredonia State on Wednesday, September 10 to take on the Blue Devils. They will then return home on the 16th. to host Fredonia State at 3:30 p.m.
