After 4-0 Week Lasher Named AMCC Athlete of the Week

State Behrend sophomore Hillary Lasher (Lakewood, NY/ Southwestern) has been
named the AMCC women's tennis player of the week for September 8, 2008.
Lasher had a strong week for the Behrend Lions as she went undefeated for the week. The sophomore went 2-0 in singles action as well as doubles on the week.
The blue and white posted an impressive 4-0 record over the weekend. A 9-0 win over Frostburg State started the season off right. Capping off the weekend the Behrend lions captured the Behrend Invitational by defeating Bethany, Geneva, and Alfred.
Behrend will travel to Fredonia State on Wednesday, September 10 to take on the Blue Devils. They will then return home on the 16th. to host Fredonia State at 3:30 p.m.
