Durante Named AMCC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

State Behrend freshman Leslie Durante (Fairview/Fairview)
has been named the AMCC Player of the Week for the week of September 29,
2008.
Durante had a dominant week versus AMCC competition, winning four singles matches and her only doubles competition. She helped lead the Behrend Lions to a 6-0 mark in AMCC competition.
The Behrend Lions went 4-1 on the week with the only loss coming in the form of a 6-3 match to Westminster. The blue and white handled the AMCC competition going 3-0 only losing two matches.
Behrend will be in action on the Behrend Courts on Friday, October 3rd versus Penn State Altoona beginning at 3:00 p.m. They will also be in action on Saturday, October 4th against Waynesburg starting at 9:30 a.m.
