Behrend Women's Tennis Stays Perfect in AMCC Play After 9-0 Win

The Penn State Behrend Women's tennis team is rolling through the AMCC this year. 

The Behrend Lions continued their conference domination today with a 9-0 win over Penn State Altoona. The blue and white are 7-0 in league play and 12-2 overall.

Karen Hobaugh (Kutztown/Kutztown) teamed with Christy Calvert (Warren/Mercyhurst Prep) to win at first doubles, while both captured wins at fourth and second singles.

Arica Christman (Sharon/Sharon) earned the win at first flight singles over Altoona's Meslissa Barba 6-2 and 6-4. Christman and Stephanie Cattron (Greenville/Commodore Perry) also won at second doubles 8-2.

The Behrend Lions will be right back in action as they take on Waynesburg University on Saturday, October 4th.  The match begins at 9:30 a.m. on the Behrend Courts.  They will be back again on October 6th when they take on Pitt-Bradford.
