Behrend's Ogden Tabbed AMCC
Volleyball Player of the Week

State Behrend middle hitter Sheila Ogden (Grove City/Grove City) was named
the AMCC Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of September 29.
Ogden led the blue and white to three wins last week, as the Behrend Lions
defeated St. John Fisher, La Roche, and Thiel to improve to 11-5 on the
season.
The junior pounded out
47 kills in the three
matches to go along with ten blocks, nine digs and seven aces. Against
AMCC opponent La Roche, Ogden hit .457 with 18 kills, while chipping in
three blocks and two aces. Ogden leads the Behrend Lions so far on the
season in several categories including kills (186), hitting percentage
(.255), and total blocks (51).
This is the first AMCC player of the week honor for Ogden so far this year.
The blue and white are back in action on Tuesday, September 30 against
Fredonia (12-6). The match will begin at 7:00 p.m. and be broadcast on
Image Sports.
