Aden Named AMCC & ECAC Basketball Player of the Week

Sophomore Tenesha Aden (Sandy Lake/Lakeview) was named this week's Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference women's basketball Player of the Week and the ECAC Southern Region Player of the Week.

Aden led her team to a 2-0 week for the blue and white to help improve the women's record to 7-5, 2-3 in the conference.  She averaged 22 ppg, 8 rpg, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting a superb 68% from the field and 90% at the line.  Aden has notched 19 or more points in the Behrend Lions last four games.  She sits atop the AMCC in field-goal percentage shooting 55.2% a game and is ranked third in scoring at 16.5 ppg.  She leads her team in points per game, rebounds per game, field-goal percentage and free-throw percentage. 

The Behrend Lions women's team will welcome Medaille to the Junker Center, Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
