Behrend's Roz Fornari Wins Two-Hundredth Game

On Saturday, February 5, Penn State Behrend's head women's coach Roz Fornari earned coaching victory number two-hundred in the Behrend Lions 62-45 win over visiting Penn State Altoona.

Behrend raced out to a 30-20 halftime lead before outscoring the Lions 32-25 in the second half for the easy win. Sophomore sensation Tenesha Aden (Sandy Lake/Lakeview) paced the offense with 15 points and 14 boards. Also in double-figures were Rachel Slomski (Erie/McDowell) with 14 points and five rebounds, and Jessica Serafin (Boalsburg/State College) with 10. Behrend held Altoona to 33% shooting from the floor and forced them into 26 turnovers.

Fornari, the all-time leader in basketball coaching victories at Behrend, posts an impressive career mark of 200-116. She is only the fourth coach in Behrend history to surpass the two-hundred win plateau.
