Women's Basketball Nationally Ranked

The women's basketball team ranks twenty-eighth nationally in scoring defense, holding teams to 52.3 points per game.  Sophomore Rachel Slomski is ranked twenty-seventh for free-throw percentage shooting 83%. 

The team will travel to Frostburg State on Friday, February 25, to play Frostburg in the semifinals of the AMCC tournament.  The winner will go on to the Championship game on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.  For the first time in the history of the league the winner of the AMCC Championship title will receive an automatic NCAA bid.
