Image Sports to Televise Behrend Basketball Games
The upcoming January 27 Penn State Behrend men's and women's basketball contests against conference rival Frostburg will be telecast live on Image Sports from the Junker Center. For Adelphia subscribers the game will be on channel 12 and those of you with Time Warner cable will be able to catch the game on channel 20. Pre-game commentary with the women's coaches will begin at 5:45 p.m. The women will tip-off at 6:00 p.m., followed by the men's contest at 8:00 p.m.
Probable starters for the Behrend women include guards Ellen Kolos (1.8 ppg & 1.5 rpg), Jessica Serafin (12.7 ppg & 2.0 rpg), and Brittany Mays (10.4 ppg & 6.1 rpg). And at the forward position will be Victoria Innes (5.3 ppg & 3.6 rpg) and Rachel Slomski (11.9 ppg & 6.4 rpg).
The starting five for the
men include guards Justin Jennings (4.6 ppg & 2.9 rpg), Tom Newman (4.0 ppg
& 2.0 rpg), and Ben Gasbarre (3.9 ppg & 1.9 rpg). At forward will be
David Gahan (12.7 ppg & 6.9 rpg) and Kevin Buczynski (17.7 ppg & 6.6 rpg).
