Behrend Women Blow Out Mt. Aloysius 81-40 Wednesday Night

The Behrend women's basketball team breezed past Mount Aloysius 81-40 November 29 in the Junker Center.  The blue and white came out firing in the first half making 16 of 30 field goals on their way to a 39-19 advantage at the break.  In the second half it was more of the same as Behrend continued the hot shooting, finishing the game shooting 53% from the floor.

Leading the way once again was senior Brittany Mays (Knox/Keystone) who finished with 18 points and seven rebounds in the first AMCC game of the season.  Also coming through with an impressive performance was freshman Jenn Emb
erg (Cowansville/Kittanning), who scored a career-high 16 points on seven of ten shooting.

Freshman Kayla O' Connor (Erie/Seneca) went for 13 points while junior Julia Andrus (Corry/Corry) went for nine points, seven rebounds, and six assists.

Behrend will play next on the road on December 2 when the blue and white will face Frostburg State at 2:00 p.m.
