Q & A with Behrend Women's
Basketball Coach Roz Fornari
1.
WHAT IS YOUR GENERAL THOUGHT ON WHERE YOUR TEAM STANDS RIGHT NOW JUST
PAST THE SEASON'S MIDPOINT?
We are working daily at realizing our potential
and becoming more consistent in our play. We are committed to it and we are
looking forward to finishing the season strong.
2.
WHO IS PERFORMING WELL FOR THE TEAM?
We have several players making key
contributions and showing good leadership. Our seniors are scoring and
have the ability to perform better than they have been. When we have
the consistency with our group, we are deep as a bench and difficult to
beat.
3. WHAT IS YOUR
TEAM'S STRENGTH RIGHT NOW? DID YOU EXPECT TO BE AS GOOD IN THIS AREA AS YOU
ARE?
I would have to say our strength has become our
defense. I am proud of how hard we have worked on our defense and where we
have come with it. We have really improved and are ranked second in our league
in scoring defense.
4. WHAT IS
THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE HEADING INTO THE
FINAL TEN LEAGUE GAMES?
Keeping our focus on the growth of our team and
the improvements we are making. We need to keep believing that we will
be where we want to be in the end.
5. WHAT IS YOUR
EXPECTATION FOR THE END OF THE SEASON AND POSTSEASON?
Right now we are taking it day by day and trying
to get better in all areas. If we take care of that we will have as good of
a chance as anyone down the stretch.
