Soccer Remains Atop the AMCC at 4-0
The Behrend women's soccer team moved to 4-0 in the AMCC with an easy 3-0 home win over Lake Erie on goals by Kim Chapman (Cranberry/Seneca Valley), Heather Crawford (Aliquippa/Hopewell), and Danielle DeMay (Bethel Park/Bethel Park). Behrend out shot the Storm 32-1.
Goalies Dara Nielsen (Cranberry/Seneca Valley) and Christine Wiktorowski (Kenmore, NY/Kenmore West) each played one half between the pipes to combine for the shutout.
The blue and white play again on Saturday, October 8 when they travel with their unscathed league mark to Pitt-Greensburg for a 1:00 p.m. contest. Then on Tuesday, October 11, they host Pitt-Bradford in conference action at 2:00 p.m. on the Behrend Fields.
