Behrend Women to Host #3 Pitt-Greensburg in 2005 AMCC Tournament
The #2 ranked Behrend women's soccer team awaits #3 Pitt-Greensburg, who will be coming to Behrend Fields on Wednesday, November 2, at 2:00 pm. Pitt-Greensburg beat #6 Medaille, 1-0 in overtime to move on to the second round.
This will be the second meeting this season between Behrend and Greensburg, who played to a 2-2 tie back on October 8. However, this time Greensburg will be playing at Behrend, where the women have a 9-2 mark.
The winner of Wednesday's match-up will move on to play in the AMCC championship match on Saturday, November 5, against the winner of the La Roche vs. Frostburg State match at the site of the highest remaining seed.
"We have built some good momentum going into these playoffs. If we play to our full potential, we should have a good shot at winning it, said coach Patrick O'Driscoll."
