Behrend Squares Off Against #4 Gettysburg,
#2 Ursinus Plays #3 Carnegie Mellon in ECAC Tournament
The ECAC women's soccer tournament match-ups were decided Wednesday night, after the conclusion of the quarterfinal games. First-seeded Penn State Behrend (14-2-4) will square off against number-four Gettysburg College (9-7-3). Penn State Behrend enjoyed a first round bye while Gettysburg defeated fifth-seeded Franklin & Marshall, 1-0. The match-up will be the first of a double-header Saturday, November 12 and is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
The second match will feature second-seeded Ursinus (13-4-2) against third-seeded Carnegie Mellon (11-4-2). Ursinus had a first-round bye, while Carnegie Mellon cruised to a 6-0 victory over Washington & Jefferson. The match will begin at 2:00 p.m., with the winner moving on to meet the winner of Penn State Behrend vs. Gettysburg in the championship game, which is scheduled for Sunday, November 13 at 1:00 p.m.
