Behrend Women's Soccer Ranks in NCAA Final Statistics
The Penn State Behrend women’s soccer team made the NCAA’s top 30 end of the season statistical rankings in two categories. The team ranked 27 in goals per game, averaging 3.14 a contest. The women tallied a total of 66 goals over their 21 game stretch. Leading the category was Simmons who 80 goals on the season, averaging 5.0 per game. Behrend was also ranked in shutouts per game. The team’s 13 total shutouts, or 0.62 per game was good enough for 30 on the list. Puget Sound lead the division with 20 shutouts in 22 games. The Behrend women finished the season 14-3-4, as runners-up in the AMCC and earning the right to host the ECAC tournament.
