Chapman Named AMCC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Penn State Behrend midfielder Kim Chapman (Cranberry/Seneca Valley) has been named the AMCC Women's Soccer Player of the Week on October 15.  Chapman scored the only goal of the game in the Behrend Lions 1-0 victory over Frostburg State on Saturday, October 13.  The win catapulted the blue and white into sole possession of first place in the AMCC standings.

This is the first conference player of the week honor for Chapman this season.  The junior has one assist and three goals on the season, including two game-winners.   

Behrend women's soccer has now won seven consecutive games and is currently 8-5-2 on the season, with a perfect 7-0 mark in AMCC play.  On Wednesday, October 17, the women travel to take on AMCC opponent Hilbert at 4:00 p.m.  The Behrend women remain on the road for three straight games leading into the AMCC Tournament.
