Behrend Women's Soccer Falls to Allegheny
The Behrend Lions took on the Allegheny Gators on the Behrend Fields
on Thursday, September 25, 2008. The blue and white looked to
improve on a 1-5-1 record before they begin league play on Saturday
versus Mt. Aloysius.
The Gators stuck first with a goal in the sixth minute of play. The Gators did not look back from there. The blue and white could not over come the quick goal and solid play by the Gators keeper kept Behrend out of the back of the net. Nikki Frisbee (Valencia/Mars) led the Behrend Lions with three shots on goal but could not sneak one in.
The Gators would add another goal in the first half and one more in the second. The blue and white would fall 3-0.
The Behrend Lions dropped to 1-6-1 on the season. Penn State Behrend women's soccer team will get right back to work as they take on the Mount Aloysius Mounties on Saturday, September 27th at 1:00 p.m. on the Behrend fields.
