Fundamentals of Fundraising:
A non credit certificate program for Fundraisers
"The Fundamentals of Fundraising," a Penn State Continuing Education non credit certificate program for nonprofit administrators, working fundraising professionals, volunteers with fundraising responsibility or anyone seeking to enter the development profession, will be offered again in 2010 (dates to be determined) at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, in cooperation with the Northwestern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
Professional fundraising personnel, executive directors of non-profit organizations, and volunteers engaged in fundraising activities will all benefit from this program which provides an overview of the techniques needed to succeed and assists participants in developing an inventory of skills for meeting the challenges of the fundraising profession.
This program will take place at Penn State Behrend.
Cost is $550 per person for AFP members and $650 for non-members. Cost includes textbook.
The Fundamentals of Fundraising program is approved for CFRE continuing education points.
Scholarship Information
A limited number of $200 scholarships may be awarded.
