Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Systems Training

Presented by Continuing Education in cooperation with The Irene and Sam Black School of Business.

Note:  Penn State Erie, The Behrend College is the only higher education institution school in the nation approved by Oracle to offer this program at their campus.

  • Employees of companies using Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

  • Individuals seeking to obtain new Oracle skills to prepare them for new job opportunities

  • Employees seeking upgraded workforce skills in Oracle (ERP) system

What will you learn?

You will become proficient in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning software.  Oracle ERP is an integrated multi-module application software that supports business processes.  Oracle is one of the top ERP vendors and the skills gained by learning this software will allow you to become more valuable in the current marketplace. 

Courses:

11i eBusiness Essentials for Implementers

  • Overview of Oracle 11i eBusiness Suite

11i eBusiness Inventory Management Fundamentals

  • Understand  the logical flow of the processes involved in Inventory Management

    • How to define inventory items, issue items, receive items and replenish items

    • How to perform many of the processing and inquiry transactions such as receiving, moving, replenishing inventory items, and generating count tags for physical inventory

11i eBusiness Purchasing Fundamentals

  • Understand  the logical flow of the processes involved in Purchasing

    • How to manage suppliers, create and maintain requests for quotes, and manage the approved supplier list 

    • How to create requisitions and purchase orders, routing and approval methods and how to enter and manage receipts 

11i eBusiness Oracle Order Management Fundamentals                          

  • Understand  order  management process flows, application functionality and the requirements necessary to manage and control sales order fulfillment

    • How to enter and maintain simple to complex sales orders, how to manage order changes and cancellations, and how to process returns

    • The course also includes critical tangent topics including customer/party management, sales credits, shipping, pricing, and Inventory-related topics such as items and organization structure as they relate to sales order fulfillment.

Prerequisites:

Participants will be expected to have basic computer literacy and have a working knowledge of business processes.  If you are currently unemployed, or come from a non-business background, you will be asked to complete a survey  that will be used to assess your readiness and aptitude for the ERP training program.
