Helping Students Succeed

President Spanier and CEO and Dean Jack Burke have expressed concern about student attrition rates, urging faculty members to make special efforts to look for early signs that first-year students may need help.

Studies of first-year retention suggest that dropout behavior usually begins to surface in the first few weeks of the fall semester. The following list of resources will help Penn State Behrend faculty members provide students with the direction and assistance they may need to succeed.
