Mission Statement


The purpose of PEPP is to develop partnerships with educators, the community, secondary school students, and parents and guardians to help the students set, meet, and exceed personal goals in preparing to pursue post-secondary educational opportunities.

WHO BENEFITS FROM PEPP?

Students benefit who

  • are at risk for not reaching their academic potential
  • are economically, socially and/or culturally deprived
  • need encouragement to aspire to post-secondary education
  • need career counseling

Communities benefit when students

  • stay in school and take challenging courses
  • are motivated to do well
  • develop leadership skills
  • have experienced mentoring

Families benefit because

  • students do better in school
  • discipline problems decrease at home
  • students receive college prep counseling
  • parents are included in the learning process
